Monday is the official release date for GoldenEye, but some areas may not yet have received their shipments.

Today is the day when Nintendo's newest N64 Title GoldenEye 007 was supposed to hit shelves. In some areas of the country, it has. However, some stores may not have received their shipments of the game yet. GS News spoke with a Nintendo representative today who said that the game has been shipped out, but because some chains must receive it at their warehouse first, individual stores haven't gotten it yet.

We were told by a sales associate at a local Electronics Boutique that the store hopes to receive the game by mid-week. For now, gamers interested in the game may be able to rent it. Chains like Blockbuster and Hollywood Video have reportedly received copies and have been renting the game out since last Friday. Stores have also received their demo copies of the game, which have been put in demo kiosks for customers to try.
