Wo Long Steelbook Launch Edition Gets Massive Discount For PS5

Souls-like games are more popular than ever before, and while many studios have attempted to lay hands on the bar set by From Software with its genre-defining games, only a handful of studios have come close to that summit. Team Ninja is one of those select few developers, and right now, the PS5 edition of its latest Souls-like Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is on sale at Amazon.

This deal isn't for the regular edition of the game, but the fancy launch day version. This comes with an attractive steelbook collectible case to house your game disc in and two pieces of bonus DLC, the Crown of Zhurong and the Crown of Gonggong. Normally $80, it's on sale for $48.

In case you missed it when it first launched in March this year, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a new action-RPG from the same studio behind the well-received Nioh games.

It's challenging, features fast-paced swordplay, and it has a parry system that'll appeal to anyone who enjoyed countering steel in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

"Its parry-based combat is frequently stellar, and Team Ninja has made a number of smart changes to keep Wo Long feeling fresh, even if there's always a tinge of familiarity," Richard Wakeling wrote in GameSpot's Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty review. "It has its issues, but if you're craving a fast-paced action RPG built on satisfying combat, Wo Long ticks most of the right boxes."

Normally $560, these are currently available for $499 and come with your choice of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
