Woody From Toy Story Beats A Man And Gets Trampled By A Bear In Red Dead Redemption 2 Crossover Video

Woody from Toy Story has come to Red Dead Redemption II in an incredible fan-made video. YouTube user eli_handle_b.wav, who has wowed us with their creations before like Michael Scott in Mass Effect, is back to show us what Andy's favorite toy would look like in Rockstar's western.

In the amazing video, we see Woody strolling through a saloon, playing dead to avoid a bear (and then getting trampled by said bear), roasting Micah for being "trash," and eventually giving Micah a proper beating. It's very well made, and also tonally jarring given Toy Story is a family friendly, lighthearted series, and Red Dead Redemption is... not. Woody is a cowboy, though, so it's a natural crossover in some respects.

Red Dead Redemption II launched in 2018 and has sold more than 50 million copies to become one of the top 10 best-selling video games of all time. Given the huge success of the series so far, it wouldn't be surprising if Rockstar eventually returns to the franchise for another entry, but no one should expect that to happen soon.

On the more immediate horizon for Rockstar is the next GTA game. Rockstar has confirmed the game is in development, and a major leak revealed it could be set in Vice City, but the game has yet to be properly announced and shown off. It's rumored to launch as soon as 2024.

GTA V recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. The game is still going strong, with the title regularly appearing in the top-selling game charts, while its GTA Online mode remains popular as well.

As for the Toy Story series, earlier this year, Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed that another Toy Story movie is in the works, alongside sequels to Zootopia and Frozen 2. The latest entry in the series, Toy Story 4, was released in 2019 and made more than $1 billion worldwide.
