Xbox One supports remote downloads
Microsoft confirms that its next-generation console, like the PlayStation 4, will let users download content while they are away.
The Xbox One will support remote downloads, Microsoft has confirmed. Earlier this week, Sony announced that the PlayStation 4 would also support remote content downloads.
"Yes! Of course you can download while you are away," Microsoft chief product officer Marc Whitten said on Twitter. "#xboxone - Always up to date, always your console. The beauty of low power mode!"
The Xbox One launches in November in 13 regions. Microsoft also recently revealed that voice commands on the Xbox One will only be supported in five regions at launch.
