For a Baldur's Gate game, it's OK. For a PS2 BG, it's awesome! Not much on the PS2 are like it.

User Rating: 9.5 | Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (PCCW The Best) PS2
When I got this game, I expected it to be an ordinary, nothing-special copy of Baldur's Gate, especially when I saw it was a Playstation 2 game, and they have been known to take good franchises from other systems and make mediocre copies. But, when I played this, I saw that it's graphics were good, you got decent characters, it wasn't too short or easy (When playing it on hard), and that it wasn't a boring, repetitive game where one enemy is the same as the next except with a new look. When you fight a new enemy, you have to study their attacks and learn how to fight them, not just use the same attack as you did on the previous guy. The weapons are pretty cool, too. The items you find are almost always the same, and usually it's nothing special, but it is good. If I had to rate it for a BG game... 7.5, at the most. For a PS2 BG game, I gave it a 9.5. It is deserving of that, and I'm wanting to play BG Dark Alliance II now!
