Good
- combat maintains the fast pace and crazy moves that the series is known for. The addition of summons was very cool, and added variety to the fights.
- the amount of weapons, techniques, and summons were huge. You could fight in many different ways.
- Viola was fun to play as. Her character also provided a nice comic relief to Bayonetta.
- the areas were varied and unique.
- the cutscenes were epic as always
- the Jeanne segments weren't that fun, but it did add some variety.
- the different demons you could turn into to traverse the environment was cool.
- the enemies were varied
Bad
- the story is too out there. I like multiverse storylines, but I don't think one did it that well. Not enough explanations about Luka and Sigurd, and are the other bayonetta's not surprised when they see a doppleganger of themselves for the first time? Everything seems implied, when it shouldn't be.
- (spoiler) I don't like the ending at all. Bayonetta is too badass of a protagonist to just kill off like this. Viola is cool, but bayonetta's charisma is what sells it for me. It won't be the same feel with viola.
