Great package deal for those who missed out
Basically, in the first game you have to complete several objectives for each of the soldiers - american, russian, and british respectively. The combat is your typical first person shooter business - point/aim/shoot, with a few grenades here and there. There are a few sequences when you get to manipulate some specialty weapons as well. For the most, you have to duck and take cover throughout the missions, in order to complete your objectives. It's alot more simple than it looks.
While these may not be the longest games out there, the bundle as a whole does provide a good amount of entertainment if you're looking for some good intense action in a single player campaign. The fact of the matter is, The game is just plain fun, and I would imagine that the second one is even better. I typically don't bother with first person shooters, as they've never been my cup of tea, but I've got to say this one has changed my perspective to some degree. It's only 20 bucks - if you missed out on the first two games in the series and jumped on te COD3/4 band wagon, you owe it to yourself to pick this one up.
