It could have improved this game, but you may spend around playing the multiplayer.

User Rating: 7 | Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 PC
Infinity Ward have worked so much for this game but there are some things that kind of bored me.
The campaign is short as Call of duty 4 was, too. There's a few scenes that I did like on some campaigns (Contingency, just like old times and takedown).
And the characters can be kind of interesting or not. The AI is just right, depending how difficulty is the game/campaign.
And, also, there's Spec-ops option which you can play yourself or with a friend or player that there are some missions, but you'll need this game bought on Steam 'cause you won't be able to play without it.
So, if you bought that game without Steam, you won't have a chance to play it, so the multiplayer.

The multiplayer will require Steam again. Although there's a way to play without it, if you already or not heard "alteriwnet" it's a way you can play the multiplayer. (more details on P.S.)
The players are able to put the microphones on, if you like to turn them off, there's an option you can mute those players.

The options or the multiplayer is kind of the same than COD4, create a class slots, choose your own weapon. But there's two options you can choose your own barracks which it'll pop up once you kill some player below on-screen.
Some weapons have sort of low recoil, except the AK-47 feels kinda the same recoil than COD4.
There are some players that they're camping right now. It's a strategy that irritates me, but hey, it's all their ideas to achieve the match.
Once you have reached level 70, you can continue playing around or choose an option of prestige mode. You'll lose everything (each weapon, killstreak, perk and challenge you have unlocked). Once chosen the prestige mode, you will be set back to rank level one, and you have to progress through multiplayer again.
The music is composed by Hans Zimmer, so I guess the music (composer) is kind of fine to me. It didn't satisfy me so much. (though one song or track is pretty great when you're on The only easy day...was yesterday's mission)

If you feel like slaughtering some players, the multiplayer will suit you. Even on campaign is all about war, between TF 141 and Spetsnaz.

Good thing:
Multiplayer is addictive and kind of fun, if you like first-person shooter. A few campaign missions are fun. The spec-ops can be fun with a player, once you bought on Steam. Graphics look pretty nice to me.

Bad thing:
The story is short, again. Killing the players all the time doesn't buck up anything except if you like wasting your time. The lag is intolerable in some time while playing multiplayer. Too many perks to choose.

In my opinion:
A 7 would fit my score. I may find a different game that doesn't have the FPS than this, but I played MP (and the campaign) like 4 hours. Wasted my time, so I play right now this game either 1 or 2 hours for now.
It'll change my good and bad mood if I fail or success to kill some opponent.

P.S.
There's way you can play this game on multiplayer pirately, there's a program called "alteriwnet" which you will be able to play online with competitive players without using that Steam. Check the website if you want to try out if it works your own PC.
A few updates of alteriwnet will keep you playing around.
