I never really played the older Crash games, I knew they existed and I always wanted to play one but I never gotten too. And than this game came to the switch and I bought it and here we are. I know this isn't a whole representation of the whole series, somewhat, I just need to say this. Personally to me, challenging doesn't always equal fun. Having challenges that are decent to handle can be fun and bring something new to the game but Crash in some levels takes it too the extreme and it really gets annoying. I did like most of the levels and what gimmicks they brought but some levels just threw crazy gimmicks that you mostly didn't know what to do or expect. I didn't want this main reason to tank down most of the score but some of these levels are just plain unplayable for me. Also side note after you beat the 3 games there isn't much to come back to which is upsetting. I liked the visuals, controls, some levels, the bosses, the soundtrack, and some other things but the execution of the levels in most cases didn't stick the landing and the lack of replayability is disappointing. If you had fun with Crash as a kid or just love platformers or even a challenge, buy this game but if you're a casual player or mainly anyone else, this game isn't for you.
