I am a Kojima fan and love his style of cerebral game design and messaging. His games are special and yet still games that are fun at the core. He weaves that thread of making statements in a game that are not in your face but you get the deeper thought put into his work. Death Stranding on paper looks weak and a quick cash in with Sony throwing money to get Kojima Productions up and running. But once you actually play the game you find it is something very different, cool in the atmosphere, well-acted, and thoughtfully scripted into a game that just STRANDS out from the crowd. It is a game very hard to put in a category and equally hard to describe so I will end this short review with just buy it and see for yourself. It is one not to be missed imo.
