I played the beta, which was awesome. I was positive the rest of the game was going to be amazing. Little did I know that Blizzard has decided to move away from an awesome story telling experience and towards mindless grinding and PvP (forced PvP at that since multiple "side quests" require you to go into a death zone where 12 years olds wait).
First, the story (what you get) is amazing and it is the only reason I give it a 2 and not a 1. But unless you haul yourself all over the map doing side missions and pointless "random" events, don't expect it to last more than a day. It feels rushed and hollow. I could have beaten it in one sitting if I hadn't gone around doing side quests, which serve as mere filler for a game that feels half finished.
Also don't expect to re-play the campaign unless you want to make a new character and start all over again. Because this is the first (and my last) Diablo game that has NOT allowed you to replay the campaign. That is just pathetic. What is it a big ask or something? So if you enjoy only grinding and PvP with a character that will continue to get nerfed in the future, this is the game for you.
