I was really excited about this game when i got it recently for the original xbox. When you buy this game be prepared to be immersed into a heartpounding bloody, gruesome nonstop action scary universe Doom 3 starts when something goes wrong then all hell breaks loose all you've got to do is shoot and whack your way through this game while making your way to an exit station which leads to the next part of the level. The environment i like, you've got the dark shadowing effects which go perfectly well as it makes the game scarier because you've got for example zombies and imps leaping out at you from just anywhere as for the action side of it it's very satisfying beating and blasting the hell out of your enemy with loads of blood and guts on the side! It's quite hard sometimes in the game as it's limited to ammo with your weapons so you have to try and save as much of it as you can and obviously keep an eye on your health and don't forget to save as it it fast action the game does gets harder and more violent throughout the game COOL! i'd say the only downside to this game really is the multiplayer as for those of you out there who are Xbox fans, the original xbox live was cancelled and has been no longer available since 2010 there is however on the multiplayer settings of the game system link you'll need two tvs, two consoles, 2 controllers, 2 copies of the game and a link cable which is alot to get just to play multiplayer but the game is still very good. I've looked into the BFG edition for pc but comparing this to BFG edition the original is better and more to the point alot of people complain that it's really dark and you can only hold the gun and torch at one time only this makes the game harder and more decision making. Overall this is one of the best survival horror games which i currently am still playing i hope you enjoy it just as well :)
