A classic game with very few to appreciate it online.

Boy does this game bring back memories. I remember the anxious anticipation waiting for the freeware demo to come out and when it finally did I played it to death. The next step was to buy the full game. Granted back then piracy was easier and I ended up going that route.

So coming back to today, I found this on Xbox Live and decided to give it a run.

I still find it a great game. This will no doubt turn off most modern gamers with its simple graphics, lack of full 360 view ability and its old-school sound.

Doom II in itself is the same as it was years ago, slightly polished on the graphics and the sound being entirely revamped to modern standards. The multiplayer would be great if there was anyone still playing this today, but unfortunately all you will find is most likely local multiplayer among friends.
