If You Think It's Too Hard You're Playing It Wrong.

Yes if you go charging off to kill the first main game boss right out of the gate, you will find things quite difficult. Even hard core Dark Souls gamers will find this approach a significant challenge. However there is so much to see and do early on that if you take the path of least resistance, fully explore all the areas you have access to at the beginning of the game, while also killing most of the things you meet along the way, by the time you get to the first main game boss you should be at a very high level, with very good gear, making all the early main bosses relatively easy. This is without repeating any content, and this early game content, with all the mini dungeons. mini bosses, parkour puzzles, Horse back combat etc, is very well implemented. You may still find the end game quite challenging, but you should have over 100 hours of game time experience to draw upon at this point as well. Yes if you like being led around by the nose by NPCs instead of NPCs giving you assignments that are as much puzzles as quests, this game may not be for you. If you like games that are basically just interactive movies, this game may not be for you. If you want a game you can platinum on easy mode over a long weekend, this game is definitely not for you. But if you're ready to take a lot of time enjoying a huge, very well made game, don't be put off by the complaints that it's too hard. The people making those complaints are just rushing things and not playing the game properly.
