i have seen many people dissapointed like mine. you dont get the feeling "omg thats a massive army" or mass melee f*cking. it's all about guns and artillery. yet medieval 2 managed to bring the chills and mass melee killing and tactical warfare because they had THE RIGHT BALANCE FOR GUNS. all you do here is shoot and win,tax people and this game might be enjoyable for some people. in my opinion,this is the worst game of the series. graphics are good, gameplay is long yet somehow repetitive. i dont actually know how you can manage to play this game for 2 years like medieval 2 managed to make me and rome total war. naval battles are good,and sometimes annoying to play because of AI. and the awesomeness in the game is very little,and you'll never feel like a professional commander like you did in rome/medieval 2.
