If you have never played Fallout 3 (I know some people who haven't... sadly) you are definitely missing out on one of the most action-packed, superb storytelling, and amazing landscapes I have ever played! Character customization, companions to travel with you on your journey, 59 quests and (about) 160 locations to be discovered without having the DLC's! Need I say more? I could literally go on forever but, let’s get to the main topics here.

The story begins with you, a vault dweller from Vault 101 in the year 2277. Nuclear war has made earth’s water toxic, the land barren and the people mutated! But as for you vault dweller; the vault is all you know about. Your father, James, is a doctor in the vault and simply tries to guide you to do the right thing and don't believe what the Overseer (Main 'boss' who controls the Vault) feed you his crap. Your father James decides to leave the Vault without even saying good-bye or why he is leaving. This is where your journey begins! (I won't go into any more detail about the story. NO SPOILERS)

Verdict: The Good

This game is massive and with the FOUR DLC's included just makes it more enjoyable to discover new places and new people! You have customization on how you want to play, whether you prefer First person shooter or Third person view. The V.A.T.S (Vault-Tech Assisted Targeting) comes useful if you aren't even use to playing shooters. The story is full of choices to make. You can be a Good, Neutral or Bad throughout the whole game or change it up as you go. Multiple choice dialogue options included! The music in this game is atmospheric! Whether you are listening to Three Dog on the radio or just the ambiance sounds the fallout developers put in to make you feel the devastation and isolation of the wasteland. I would, and still do, replay the game because it's that immersive and enjoyable!

Verdict: The Bad

I will admit there are some quirks in the game that most games do have. Graphics are amazing, beautifully created wasteland and colorful characters you meet occasionally. There are some minor glitches that I have run into like being stuck between rubble and having to re load my game to get out of it. Or when you are in a firefight the game starts to glitch furiously when I am shooting a Behemoth! It could just be the disk I had but after I switched to digital all the problems stopped.
