Don't get me wrong, good game, good story... but gameplay? Not so good.
Now, I'm a big fan of the Fallout brand. All of them have been good. I enjoy the missions, the story (especially in Fallout 3) is quite fantastic. Twists and turns in the main story are very well put together and the choices you are forced to make are difficult yet, exciting at the same time.
Many of the side quests and alliances you make, are very good fun and again, the stories are very slick and also quite commical from time to time! Throughout everything you do, you hold the lives of everyone around in your hands, to the point, where all characters (other than essentials or children) can be shot, chopped or beaten to death, so you have a very broad landscape of which to occupy.
HOWEVER
Personally, I think the gameplay could be much better. I don't particularly enjoy the travelling around the wasteland on foot, I think the running and jumping is poorly done and the graphics could be far better. For me, it's jittery and annoying but that is just me. I can see why the other components of the game might cause people to overlook the moving around issue I see, but for me, it's always bugged me!
