Embedded videos don't play in Chrome

I am on a mac.

Pressing play just displays the spinning youtube loading circle.

Started about 3 days ago.

Works in Opera.

Same problem. All embedded videos just sit there loading.

I'm on the latest version of Win 10, Google Chrome is up to date, Version 72.0.3626.119 (Official Build) (64-bit)

@angerawr: I used Chrome on Mac.

Currently using Opera and now it's working (even if Opera does have the odd bug in it's code)..

It looks like this is happening when you have adblocker turned on. Try turning it off and playing the video.

@angerawr: so videos will never work in Chrome unless ad-block is turned off? Since 99% of people use it on Chrome, that basically means videos cannot be embedded on GS. Is there going to be a permanent fix instead of this go around that most people won't bother with?

Yep plz fix it a lot of people use ad block and don't know why the videos won't play we have to go directly to youtube to play the video
