Videos not playing past count down

Hi,

I cannot watch any video on this website. It will play the 5 second countdown video, then stop there. It won't then load the main video.

I've tried disabling adblock, but no success.

Using latest Chrome on latest OSX.

@angerawr: I'm also having problems with all videos. The add video will come up fine, but when the "real content" video is supposed to start it just show a circle looking thing as if it's thinking but nothing happens. That happens with all videos on this site. I have been coming to this site for years, and I started having this problem some months ago. Something changed and it wasn't me. I've had the same system for years.

but keep in mind that all videos have the same problem (I can see the add and then it goes into a "thinking" mode with the circle thingy going around)

Having the same problem since you updated the video player. This happens using Internet Explorer on Windows 7. Using Chrome the videos play just fine. I'm guessing its some imbedded url that's being blocked for being a bad url by the browser. So what url's are necessary for the player to work?

When trying to watch the Ghost Recon Wild lands review. This is what I get after the adds play and then nothing happens (Windows 7 Home Pre 64bit, Internet Explorer).

@WimpMiester: We're looking into this now, can you try loading the video using Internet Explorer's private browsing mode?

Didn't work, add counter ran down to zero and then nothing. While the add was playing, twice it asked to allow a popup and I answered no.

@WimpMiester: I did a bit of digging looking into the console errors you posted above. The error you're seeing referencing "http://as.eu.angsrvr.com" Is NOT something caused by our site and our player should NOT be trying to open popups. We don't serve or reference that file from those servers. After some digging it looks like that may be some pretty common malware causing that error. That malware is designed to mess with web pages and inject it's own ads to make money, and it may be interfering with the way our player plays videos. I recommend running a virus scan and making sure your computer is clean.

My security suite doesn't find anything so I tried Spybot and it didn't find anything either. The strange thing is the only videos that don't play are your reviews. Other videos on your site play and I have no issue with any other sites. I also manually cleared the cash in flash. I'll keep looking into this issue.

I too have been having and still do have the same problem as stated above ... and I also have been coming to this site for years!!!! :(

Please fix this.

I've run malwarebytes, spybot, f-secure and none of them found any actual malware or virus. I did notice several months ago that f-secure auto removed a file which may have been about the time the player quit working. I cleared all windows caches, uninstalled/reinstalled java and flash (manually removed their folders after uninstall to make sure nothing was left behind). Since all this your player still doesn't work after the add plays. I get this now (I remove the lines that repeat several times).

Video I tried to play was "More Details And Images For Dark Souls Publisher's New Vampire RPG Revealed".
