How do you feel about sports betting? I just bet a couple of times, not a lot of money, and so I earned a little, but of course it depends on the country. We are allowed in America.

I think it's OK to do it in moderation. A lot of people are passionate about sports, so they bet for fun. It's just a manifestation of their passion. I see that as harmless, but you have to be careful to not become addicted to it. Gambling addictions have ruined the lives of many people. I personally do not gamble and I never will.

I know too many people who are always "up"... as long as you don't count their losses (and they never do).

"The method would have worked, I just got greedy/lazy/careless!"

Yeah.

I find gambling disgusting, so I don't participate in it. Other people are free to burn their money however they like.

It's fine. I don't see the harm in spending $50 bucks on a night of poker or horse racing (which is a pretty tame cost for a night of entertainment).

Some people can lose control, but that's true of just about anything.
