My personal cut off from The Simpsons is season 12 with a special exemption for the movie & crossover Family Guy. Everything after that turned to crap. Also they've been trying to do the occasional weird anime thing for the last couple of years now and it never pays off.
I don't know about you but doing Death Note is very dated and they should have gone with Attack on Titan instead.
Lost 100% of interest in The Simpsons, not funny or amusing anymore. Been a long time since I’ve watched an episode.
Watched it last night. Thought it was pretty good. I can’t believe I’ve been watching this ever since they were shorts on the Tracy Ullman show. Still enjoy it.
I heard it was good, but sadly my Simpsons days are behind me. Don't think I've seen any episodes since the early 20-something or so season. Might check it out on Disney+

My cut off for The Simpsons is way early than that. I only watched until the end of season 9 in my rewatch about eight years ago and saw the decline all over. What I remember most was Mr. Milhouse losing both his hands while driving and barely reacting. Knew then that Simpsons had become a cartoon in the worst way. Partly blame Conan O'Brien for just wanting to make it more absurd, but most of it is the management that came after. Lacked the sincerity it once had.

slowing working way though on D+ in like season 8 currently. crazy how so many fucking great episodes came out of so few seasons.

Yeah I enjoyed it for a lot of the time, but you're right; there's like this core block of <10 seasons that is just amazing and everything else is just filler.
