Best RTS unit of all time?

Tons of people make "best weapon ever" threads, but here's a bit of a different take on that.

What's the best unit in an RTS (or any Strategy game for all I care) ever?

It can be the most powerful, the most useful, the most unique, whatever you think the best one is.

Not if they are used for defense, the lurkers would have to come in to range to dig in to be effective, and they would be slaughtered in the process :D

The original poster wasn't MOVING his tanks at all so he is still correct. He meant seige tanks in seige mode in a line not moving.
