Dragon's Dogma 2 gameplay showcase!

Gameplay is finally here! Thoughts, SW?

Hell yeah! Haven’t watched it yet but loved the first game and am thoroughly hyped for this one.

Guess I should play the 1st one now. Bought it on sale around a year ago because of the positive reviews and just haven't got to it yet.

First one had potential but was really tedious. Had to use some QOL mods. Also had ridiculous hp sponge enemies

Which mods did you end up using for Dragon's Dogma? Visual or more gameplay mods?

OH MY GAWD!

But if i had to add some negatives, no coop in a game like this, especially a title that is most likely schedueled for 2024, makes zero sense. I just don't understand this at all. They even have the capcom accounts for crossplay, but no coop. And secondly, the visuals are very old. I don't know why the graphical difference between something like RE4R and DD2 is this massive. If we were in 2010, it'd be understandable since open world games tend to look worse, but that is simply no the case anymore.

Combat looks like it has improved quite nicely from the first game. Some cool use of the environment here to fight monsters and what not. Using that troll as a bridge was too funny. 😅

This is the game I am most interested in playing.😁

As someone who hasn't played the first one and just looked at it, DD2 looks like the first one but with better graphics. Which is a good thing, afaik.

Great mechanics held back by absolute rubbish content. Would be better if they just made a 10 hour long linear action adventure.

By the time you beat Dragon's Dogma 2 (assuming it is around 40 hours like the first one). I can beat around 8 indie games and get a far more fulfilling experience. Probably at around the same price too.

quantity>quality? This is not how this works, but hey! At least your 1070 will handle those 8 indies😎

I must try the first one again if i ever dig out my PS3. I must have missed a trick. But the combat seemed a bit janky and all over the place. I don't remember really enjoying it.

Anywho hopefully Capcom make another cracker. They are on a bit of a roll.

Quality of gametime > Quantity of gametime.

40 hours of those indie games will give me far more unique, varied, artistic and memorable experiences than 40 hours of the same game will.

Gonna watch it now! The first game was awesome. Felt unique.

This game would benefit with online co-op. I imagine it won't have it like the first one did not.

Day one. I have been waiting for this game a long time. Sucks they didnt add coop since instead of one companion you can have 3 now, but whatever.

Anyone knows if there's somewhere i can bitch and be noticed by capcom?😎I want the coop so much i am ready to moan HARD.

Must say, the mechanics look fun.

I hope this game cures me of my dislike of ARPGs.
