Is it the one that's going to Feudal Japan? If so hell no! Ghost of Tsushima was the AC set in Japan that was done right and Ubisoft coming late to the party is laughable at this point.

I am hopeful it will be a playing experience more like the older asscreed games, but I am not hopeful. It's been a few years since I've enjoyed anything Ubi has made.

Ubisoft has the ability to make good games, but they just need to stop filling them to the brim with microtransactions and shops.

They always give you 350 free coins or something as a taster to buy something in their shop. Dude, drug dealers do that tactic.

Yes, very interested. A bite sized throwback to the AC classics with stealth based gameplay and still pushing forward with their open world games as well? Hell yeah... it's like having 2d and 3d Mario games and I'm just fine with that. Should be the perfect game to fill playtime between bigger titles.

Assassins' Creed is the Keyser Soze of games.

It was never great. Even saying "mid" is being incredibly generous. Steam sale at best title.

His tits are upset for a perfectly understandable reason. Ubi have become one of the worst AAA devs in the world. SC and Rayman are the only great things they have left (SC started sucking too though), and they remain ignored in favor of regurgitated, developed on autopilot games you need the brain power of a carrot to play.

Splinter cell was ruined long ago. Chaos theory in 2005 was last good SC game.

Only played the first 2 ACs, had no desire to play any others. Going back to their roots doesnt sound very compelling when said roots were trash to begin with.

i like origins and legends alot, but id like to see a new take on 3d Rayman. Something akin to great escape would be cool.

but in general, those early AC games were not good. I have no nostalgia for them. I didn't mind their RPG-ification of the series, they just needed to make the games smaller/more focused, 40 hours instead of 80.

No but I'll probably play it anyways, I had fun with Valhalla but never want to touch it again on account of it being a massive time drain.

@ConanTheStoner: Honestly, gave up on Ghost Recon and R6 years ago. About closest thing get to Ghost Recon these days is Arma in all its janky glory.

OG R6, really, nothing plays like it. Even games that get touted as spiritual successors to such titles such as Ready Or Not, still plays nothing like it for the most part.

Lost interest in AC games long time ago. To be honest it's hard for me to get hyped for any yearly series. On the other hand, i'm love devs who take their time (Rockstar, Bethesda, Naughty Dog, etc)
