PS 5 Sells 10 Million in 120 Days

Sony had the best run in the history of PS consoles selling 10 million PS5 in just four months between Aug and Nov. 2023. This translates into an estimated 3,472 PS5 consoles sold per hour.

As of December 9, nearly 50 million gamers around the world have bought a PS5. This figure is impressive considering the supply disruptions due to the coronavirus outbreak in 2020.

Very nice. Between Final Fantasy XVI, Spiderman 2, Final Fantasy 7 Intergrade, Ratchet & Clank RA, God of War Ragnarok, Demon's Souls, Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Spiderman Remastered, Returnal, Astro's Playroom, Sackboy's Big Adventure, and Death Stranding DC along with all the PS4 games I missed or didn't have time to complete, the PS5 has been a pretty good system for me overall. This doesn't even include games I picked up on the PS5 that are available on Xbox or Switch too. There are a lot of good games to play for sure.

The one thing I wish the PS5 had that the Series X has is Quick Resume. I freaking love quick resume.

Meh, not interested in over priced and over rated ps5 at this point. Xbox is where it's at.

That's actually insane...

Pretty sure I've got it estemated pretty well... It's had an average generation. I'd give it a C+ thus far. Not worthy of a buy yet, but perhaps down the road.

I don't think the PS5 is overpriced, but paying nearrly $100 for access to cloud saves and online multiplayer is a big turn off for me.
