Rise of Ronin gets its first reviews, near perfect scores

Looking good so far. Seems graphics is gimmicks has struck again. Clown Cows crying this games looks like a PS3 game, they've been spoiled by gimmicky movie games that play themselves. I enjoyed Ghosts of Tushima and this ones gameplay looks even more fun. It appears we have another 80's Opencritic, can't wait to try this beast out.

@R4gn4r0k: His favorite game last year was Monster Hunter Rise, all he does is play Switch looking graphics.

My prediction is correct some reviewers did give it a 10/10 heck yeah. I pre ordered the game anyhow hope I can find a time to play it as I am still in FF7 Rebirth and got backlog of Unicorn Overlord on top of this game.

Elden Ring looks worse than the best looking Switch games, only Bluepoints effort was an acceptable looking Souls game.

This week is backlog week.

Mmm, one does not simply bring famitsu reviews when trying to boast about a game, but I do agree with the later part, that this game will be a good game that will be in the positive spectrum for most people, but nowhere near a masterpiece nor a GotY contender.

I have Ronin and DD2 pre-ordered and ready to go. 55 hours into Unicorn Overlord and loving every minute. It's like I'm creating a backlog within an already larger backlog now... sigh. On top of that I really like The Outlast Trials and need to get farther in it as well. Liking the first review even if it's on the high side of things. Looking like my guess of mid 80's (give or take a couple points) is possible.

Lol I do the same thing. Buy games even tho I have plenty to play. my main game is ff7 rebirth but I have dd2 and ronin preordered!

You cannot use Famitsu to judge a Japanese game. Famitsu giving 35+/40 to a western game on the other hand actually means something.

Not for me. Got Forbidden West & Dragon's Dogma 2 to get through this weekend. Who am I kidding? It'll take me weeks to get through anything lol.
