Totally expected Venom to be showing up for Spider-Man 2 and also rumors suggest that Carnage will be in it. About time cause Carnage has been missing in action on the games for years...but I don't know if this Venom will be his movie counterpart, same for Carnage.

How does insomniac make so many games so fast? These guys are masters of making money. Quick made games that sell 20 mills

Having two full development studios probably helps. Main one is in Burbank CA and the second location is in Durham NC.

Its crazy how good and fast insomniac is. I know they have multiple teams but still. From 2020-2024 its looking like we are going to get at worst 4 games. That would already be a good amount for a full gen and with the way they do things we could maybe see like a spiderman 3 or something by the end of the gen around 2026-2027.

Shit, PS3 era they released a game every single year from 2006-2013. Sometimes, multiple in one year!

The 2018 Spider-Man game packed in so many characters, especially villains.

I think it is a smart power move by Insomniac to narrow this down to Venom.

I can also see Wolverine being their The Last of Us - a much more violent, adult game to counter the lighthearted fun.

Thats true I do think the quality started to go down a little with having so many ratchet and clank games though.

Great to see Venom in the game. Hope Carnage is in as well. I imagine he will be or at least in some kind of dlc later.

The mainline Ratchet games were good, the spinoffs were pretty bad. All 4 One and Full Frontal Assault.

Resistance trilogy was golden though.

It’s gunna feel like a long wait but I did really enjoy Miles Morales, I even got the platinum trophy for it which isn’t something I usually go for in games.

Yeah I love ratchet and clank but think it was good they slowed down some after crack in time they got worse and rift apart was amazing. Resistance I have no interest in has I hate FPS.

A sequel to one of my favorite ps4 games, I'm in. I need to get on miles morales at some point soon, but it seems like I have over a year before this launches. I'm ready to see how they incorporate a good story with venom. I'm hoping some other villains make an appearance too. Maybe Green Goblin, Carnage, Kraven, Mysterio, or Sandman.

Loved spider man ps4. I even think it may be close to a 10 for me. I just can't say I didn't enjoy it thoroughly. Spider man 2 will be awesome.

Looking forward to playing it when it releases in 2024.

Venom is cool. If they can figure out how to make the game not being "do the same shit 2000 times" like Ubisoft are masters of, that'd be even cooler.

I feel like licence/superhero/hollywood adoption games are going to be dominated genre current gen like in 8 gen it was open world and 7 gen it was modern millitary FPS.
