What's on Switch you ask? Everything.

Into The Breach, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Disgaea 4, 5, 6 and 7, Mario+Rabbids 1 and 2, Tactics Ogre Reborn, Triangle Strategy, Advanced Wars 1+2 Remake, Live a Live, Fire Emblem Engage and a whole lot more indies.

PS5 doesn't fair too well it only has about half of what switch have.

Xbox has uh..uh..it has uh...help me out guys.

.

hermits go away with your 200 low buget game no one's even heard of.

Into the Breach love nice... Subset games have made a couple bangers!! Looking forward to Metal Slug tactics as well.

Also you can get the old school Shining Force games either thru the online sub or the excellent Sega collection.

I would recommed Disgaea 1 Complete (remake of the very 1st game), it's on PS4, Switch and Steam, it's known for it's quirky humour and the endless grind.

Grid based tactical games, the very type of games I loathe. :)

@me2002: You kidding? The Switch is my go-to for just about everything these days. It has the best library I've ever had on a console and I'm curious to see how Nintendo can top it next gen.

Never really though about it, but yeah, is definitely where I'd go if I said to myself I needed to develop a stronger appreciation for the genre. One of my friends would get giddy as a schoolgirl when it came to Disgaea, so, I value his endorsement, that would be the first one I jump on.

I still need to place Into the Breach. But the fact their other game isnt on Switch is one of the greatest mysteries of all time.

I bought it and played it for like 10 minutes. I know I’m gonna love it but just haven’t gone back. I need to go back to XCOM too

@ghostofgolden: It's a little out of my comfort zone. That's probably one of the things I liked best about it. You'll dig it, dude.

Yes, and they often cost less and perform better and look more impressive than the switch, with its teeny tiny screen with broken joysticks.

Aren't most of those games you listed pretty much low-budget with retro graphics?

Yeah, most are, now that I've looked them up. And more! So really...Switch is definitely not the place. But PC sure is! HERMITS REJOICE!

And given how low their requirements are, you can likely comfortably play many of them on Steam Deck, Laptops, and even tablets if you so choose. Far more choice!

Still, it is interesting how Nintendo, a company known for more arcadey games, has a pretty good selection of Strategy Games. A genre that has been more or less abandoned by the AAA industry.

@mrbojangles25: Fire Emblem the 30+ year beloved franchise beats whatever PC has and all those games are huge budget compared to whatever PC exclusives have. You know, those 200 half finished hardly playable games on steam no one's even heard of or bother to review?

The games I listed don't perform any better or worse on either because they're not taxing on the hardwares.

And you can connect switch to any screen and use controllers.

Diversity is the spice of life, my friend.

If you want to clutch to an established franchise and talk shit about all the other great ones, you go ahead, but that's pretty sad.

No reason you can't enjoy them all, though, unless you intentionally limit yourself. Which, again, is sad.

PC and it's not even an argument. It has almost all those games plus hundreds more going back decades. Fire Emblem can be emulated if I wanted it, but I'm cool with missing out on the creepy dialog with 12 year old looking anime girls.

@mrbojangles25: I'm just messing around in the spirit of system wars really. I know there's gotta be plenty of hidden gems on steam. But I really don't have time to check them all out, I think if it's really that good it will come to Switch eventually which some actually have.
