just got mass effect @ kmart

i just scored my copy at kmart, i'm scared to play it in fear of the ban hammer. your thoughts?

I'm 100% sure you won't get banned, and anyways if you do, just contact micrsoft about it saying that it was sold to you legally.

Just don't sign into your gamertag when you turn on your 360 and you can't get banned.

There right, you wont get banned. Although Mass Effect is the only game this month with an actual street date. They can't do anything about another companies mistake. You bought it fair and square... It's not like your money didnt go to the devs and microsoft anyhow.

As for people getting banned on Halo 3, they werent. It was the people hacking in the Beta that got the ban. Microsoft couldnt do anything about retailers selling the game early.

There's a topic about this at the bioware mass effect forums. The devs say it was sold early, even though there was a DONT SELL BEFORE 11/20 sticker. But it was a legal sale, so no ban hammer is coming.
