This spartan is still standing
After defeating Ares Kratos was crowned the new god of war, although olympus becon memmories of his past still haunted him despite the gods promising to rid him of them.
One particular vision he had was that of his mother, who called for his aid as well as to tell him of his lost brother who he persumed dead, seeing this vision for the first time Kratos sets his site to Atlantis in search for answers, despite doing so against the gods wishes.
Graphics wise the game looks beutiful, so far as to say it looks better than God of War II, the vibrant effect and physics give the environments a whole more better look and some elements from god of war 3 like the blood cover effect have also been included in the game (though difficult to notice)
Like pryer games the game is linear with a fixed camera, the path forward is very clear with a few dead ends that lead to treasures and status expansions.
Along the way you will fight a hord of mythical creatures and exciting boss fights, will solve puzzles, obtain new weapons and magic powers.
In the sound department the game delivers new tunes as well as some old tunes that have been remixed a bit, the voice acting is great as always although it can be odd when Kratos tries to show some kind of sentimental expression in certain scenes.
God of War Ghost of Sparta stays true and solid to the series, however its a bit to solid, while the story is intresting and engaging gameplay wise the game is the same old same old, while the new weapons and environmental moevments like sliding and swinging on ropes does provide a new pace its not enough to distinguish this game from other games of the franchise, other than that its a great handheld game and every PSP owner should get this game.
