Ghost of Sparta packs one of the best stories in the series and some incredible weapons as well.
Story
Taking place betweenGod of War 1 and 2 Kratos the now God of War is searching for his brother Demios and what happened to him.
Gameplay
Ghost of Sparta is more action packed than Chains of Olympus and that sures. Kratos is falling down walls having to jump and having to alsobattle many different types of bosses as well. What I like about the gameplay is its all out action and has some memorable scenes. There are some puzzles but not many which might dissapoint certain players.
As with other games in the sereis you shall acquire certain weapons sure as ice powers a spear,a shield and also be able to dash. What was missing from the last game was a special meter which let you have your sword and stuff burning through armour or just dealing more damage. Bosses come in many shapes and sizes and some are so different one of them is you have to throw someone into a mirrior so he doesn't attack you and another part I like was you got to play as you past self for a brief moment.
Even after the main game is completed you have the Challenge of the Gods which have some challenging tasks to try you hands at and also any power orbs you had left over from the main game you can spend at the Temple of Zeus to unlock bonus content.
Presenatation
The series has always had top notch voice work and this is the same and the story is well excuted and also the music is very mythilogical as well taking into the spirits of what God of War games are all about.
Lastability
There's about the same time as Chains of Olympus as well as the Challenge of the Gods plus unlocking all that bonus content so about 10 hours I would say of gameplay time and also you might just want to play the game again.
Overall Opinion
Incredible and what God of War is mostly about while it does lack puzzles it makes up for in wonderful set piece and epic moments. You should really experience this game.
