To start of the review i have to say this game is AWESOME! Now to start talking about the game. Halo 3 ODST is the fifth Halo game to be released(don't forget Halo Wars that counts too) and has much to live up to but thankfully...it does. First of all the campaign is amazing it has a tense feeling to it that not many game have and does have replay value which benefits even more. The new weapons are sweet(especially the Automag) they add much more variety even though it's only 2 weapons,they are still both awesome. The 6-8 hour campaign will have you sucked in to get to the end and really gives a satisfying feel to completing the game. When your walking the streets of New Mombasa moving through the shadows as your ODST, Automag equipped quickly killing grunts and jackals with quick 1 shot kills to the head, this game is VERY satisfying. There is also some new stealth gameplay which is good aswell along with the new VISR mode which is very cool. Now to Firefight,Firefight is jsut plain AMAZING...it is an excellent new mode which is probably the best part of this game. Firefight has you fight never ending hordes of covenant that arrive in Phantoms and come to kill you,it is very fun and will take many hours of your time playing with your freinds,and playing with freinds is the best part. It adds a great sense of teamwork and survival that adds some great new tactics to the Halo franchise, Halo 3 ODST does have it's flaws one being no matchmaking for firefight, i was a bit disapointed to find out that you can only invite or be invited to join a firefight game in progess but i got over it and it isn't a big problem once you get used to it. There are a couple other small issues but otherwise Halo 3:ODST is a great game and i recomend it to anyone looking for a great fps to play or just looking for a great game to play with their friends. Over all ODST is one the best FPS games yet and is truly an excellent title that will please any gamer.
