I honestly found Hyrule Warrior to be an excellent idea, but like EXTREMELY BADLY EXECUTED.
First of all, the animations are not top notch, (It's not that big of a deal, but it's still something).
Secondly, the unique interesting part of the game is the story, there's no post story and the "challenges" missions mode that you can find on the title screen are SOOOOOOO repetitive and annoying that you just don't want to play them.
Thirdly, the game is empty of content. Literally 1/5 of the content is locked behind DLC.
Fourthly, the amount of antagonists and bosses is, well, pitiful. There are also like 5 legions: Hylians, Monsters, Undeads and two other legions that I can't even remember. The legions are also REALLY unbalanced, to get items to upgrade your characters you need to beat and collect certain items from specific legions, notably the worst must be the Hylian legions being 80% of the game allied with you and 5% of the game against you forcing ou to replay VERY SPECIFIC levels.
Fifth, no custom matches, no multiplayer, nothing. It's really pure Dynasty Warrior without anything special to it.
Lastly, the story is good at first, but more you play the game, more nonsensical it becomes.
The unique up of this game is the gameplay, the game works as intended and the game can be fun as long as you play the story without having completed it. The music is excellent too.
