Remarkable....Truly Infamous!!
Gameplay: As we jump into Empire City, you are thrown directly into the story you play as Cole Magrath. you start off waking from an explosion and have to figure out what just happened, you then realize you can harness the power of electricity, will you choose the way of good or evil, your path changes the story and what you can do, will you protect the City from the forces that kill you, or destroy the city itself, this is where the game really gets interesting, I suggest playing good then evil, but that's just me
Controls: The controller scheme is rather good, but at times a little tricky at best, not enough to throw your controller at the TV, but the set up is simple, but using complicated techniques to take down foes is the fun of figuring it out, For instance you jump on a rail and then see an enemy later in the game you get the precision head shot motion used with the D-Pad while grinding with the left analog stick you see where that can get a bit clunky, though it takes practice to master it.
Music/Sound: Empire City doesn't have the best soundtrack, the ambiance however sets up the city to where you know **** is going down. From the sound of absorbing electricity, to the city life, it really has a mind of it's own.
it's not great but not bad at the same time.
Environment: This is where I got drawn in, the big sandbox of Empire City, from doing Side quests from collecting Shards, the people walking the streets to the dark ambiance that shrouds the city. Every little things makes this city alive in it's own way.
The Bad: Now to say that there are a few bad things I didn't find quite enjoyable about this game.
-The lack of side missions, it just feels you do like 2 or 3 then progress the story, though don't get me wrong you can play the game for a long time. maybe it was me trying to collect all the things to collect
-The enemies can be easy or hard as ****, from just going in powers ablazing, or just running from the enemies to regain your energy, this is a pain in the side, not enough to take away the fun.
All and All: Go and get this amazing game, if not the Collection series which comes with both games and DLC, this is a wonderful exclusive to add to your PS3 collection.
