Review on graphics, plot, difficulty and overall feeling towards the game.
If you was put off Injustice because you've had difficultly in not reacting quick enough to prevent getting beat or you've never really been able to pull off the combo moves in other fighting games then you shouldn't worry about playing Injustice. It's easy for beginners but it can also be challenging for regular gamers if you play on the hardcore settings. The combo moves are easy to perform even if you're just going crazy and button bashing (like my nephews do.) On the setting 'Easy' your opponent may only hit you once or twice where as on 'Hardcore' you will find that the pace of the fight is much faster and you will have to do some defending.
The plot of the game is surprisingly good. I as a DC comic fan, was not sure if the game could pull off Superman being a villain but it was explained very well and I thought it was cleverly done. However, I was disappointed by the length of the story as it only took me 2-3 hours to complete. In other games when you finish the story mode it sometimes means that there is not much left to do other than go online with it but in Injustice, this is not the case. The battle mode has several sub-modes which can be challenge depending on what difficultly setting you are on and the S.T.A.R Lab mode is full of challenges to complete with a 3 star rating on how well you performed it and how quick. I found some challenges on S.T.A.R. lab quite difficult but some easier than expected. If you do choose to complete the battle mode and S.T.A.R lab don't think that it was just for nothing, there is achievements for completing the battle modes and complete S.T.A.R lab with 3 stars on every challenge (not including DLC.)
Graphics were very pleasing, that really all I have to say about that.
Overall, the game is not realistic but having said that neither are super heroes. All of the fighting arenas are interactive and the super moves are easy to perform and entertaining to watch. The clash feature is useful IF you win it. At the start I was a bit confused as how to use it right because it seems to just be just stuffed into the game for no good reason. The game is chaotic so its not for everyone but I do urge you to give it ago.
