Considering that I almost wanted to destroy the original, this one is 10-times better. But it still falls short.

User Rating: 6.5 | Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights PS2
For those who don't want to look at my Juiced review, and considering you would have to look at the game in order to I wouldn't blame you, I gave it a 2.5. It might have been better if it had been broken.

So, here is the sequel, and will it be another steamy pile on a disc?

No. In fact, it is much better than the original, and here's the improvements:
Points System? Gone, completely.
Voice Acting? Less of it and much improved.
AI? Actually pretty decent for a racing game.
Teammates? Very competent, and could possibly leave YOU in the dust.
Consistency? Possibly the biggest difference you may not initialy notice.
Physics? Well.....moving on.

Now the new stuff:
Driver DNA- It is the core aspect of the game, yet it affects the actual racing by being completely passive. It relies on your actions and reflects your driving style, and does it well on that note.
Ford Torino- An old school muscle car to begin with, and is competitive throughout is range. Speaking of....
Series Levels- set up well, and gradually gives you more and more modes.
Upgrades- Actually this can get irritating at times, but it is a good challenge.
Markers- instead of random races, you get markers for extra vinyls ant the prototype parts.

Overall, it is a vast improvement on the previous game, and as a sequel that's what you expect. It still falls short of Need for Speed and Midnight Club, but it is actually some fun.

You could buy this, but you SHOULD rent it.
