The combat is superb & props to RGG for perfecting Dragon Engine! The enhancements made to Yagami's previous detective skills are strong, & the new side activities.
Serious plaudits on the story line, which RGG managed to do in spite of canon & IRL constraints (both in series & real life the yakuza is moribund). One thing Western players should beware before they play: school bullying is seen as more urgent to society at large in Japan than in the US, hence how & why this game has a story related to it, as well as the attitudes towards minors doing it. Character development as well as story's unfolding was strong as well.
The main story part of the game was shoulda been much longer at least as hard as Judgment 1. Judgment 1 was a tough act to follow tho. Both are great games. But since this review is about Lost Judgment, I wholly recommend.
PS: Play w/ the Japanese audio. English dub is terrible. As with all RGG titles, their subtitling & subtitle translations are better than Hollywood(-equivalent) international films.
