Lumines is still this day, the best psp launch title out there. It has a zen-like feel to it that combines hip j-pop club music with a simple puzzle game that makes this a title that's perfect for car trip or waiting in line. Your goal is to simply delete block by getting blocks of the same color together. (Watch a gameplay video to understand it better.) As you play through challenge mode, you'll slowly unlock new songs which change the game's speed and block colors. Most of the music is made of Japanese and European techno music that's worth listening to on your iPod. It's really that good. Unfortunately, the game is extremely difficult and is best played in 20 minute bursts instead of hours. Nowadays, you can find this game for a really low price just about anywhere, so do yourself a favor and go pick up a copy. You won't regret it.
