Madden 11 should be re-named Madden 10.5

To make a long, familiar story short, Madden 11 is Madden 10 with: Gus Johnson replacing Tom Hammond, Locomotion, Gameflow and a roster update.

Seriously - that's all there is to it.

Superstar Mode, Franchise Mode and the actual gameplay engine is pretty much untouched from the previous verisons, except for the Locomotion addition (It's a fancy word for momentum-based running, which has been in old-generation Madden games and most other football games for years).

The tackling engine continues to be obsolete and animation based. Players continue to have invisible force-fields once animations are triggered.

And yes, offensive lineman will stand in place and do absoultuely nothing on passing plays except stomp their feet while the QB runs around for his life.

Honestly, save your money people. It's Madden 10.5. They could have probably PATCHED all this stuff into Madden 10. But then, they'd have a tough time trying to sell a patch for $60. EA was kind enough to stick this patch into a box for you. Not worth it folks.
