Fugitive, Badass, Armed and Dangerous, These were my thoughts by myself...
The movie was so crappy as well, I hope they stopped making a sequel based on the second one. 😆
📝 PLOT - Max Payne is about a fugitive undercover cop, Max Payne, Whose his Wife and his Daughter was killed, He knows that the guys who killed them were the three green jumpsuit guys from a new drug called Valkyr, He will take a raging fire to kill the bad guys in this badass game, Inspired from John Woo movies and Bullet Time from the 1999 movie 'The Matrix' starring Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne, This game was a great king of all famous games (e.g. Grand Theft Auto, Watch Dogs).

There was the sequel, Max Payne 2 - The Fall of Max Payne, and then, Max Payne 3, but Remedy was not that part in 2012.
In 2008, There was a movie released with the same name, starring Mark Walkberg, The worst actor of this movie, It had negative reviews from users and critics, But it was successfully made due to no reason.
Graphics were good, Sounds are okay, Everything is fine. Just that.
I played this game and it was so awesome! Can't believe what Rockstar Games did in 2012 as well, Sam Lake was awesome in this series, even the movie too, It is okay, Some famous studios like Ubisoft, EA Games and Naughty Dog do not own this game series, But it was still awesome, Max Payne was too pain to the bad guys, Cannot stop playing this game as it is all.
