Awesome Game and Co-Op to boot, but why no wifi?

So far I have only played the demo of this game and I have to say i loved it. It has everything i would expect from a MGS game and it's amazing for a hand-held system game. The controls are easy to get used to and the game play is smooth. The detail for a hand-held is top quality as well.

The main problem I have with this game is the fact that the Co-Op is only played via LAN (adhoc). I have a couple of friends that live near me with a PSP but I doubt they'll get this game. When i heard it had Co-Op i had high hopes for Wifi but from what i see now that probably won't happen, although I do wonder why they moved the release date back from May to June.

Anyway I still overall like this game alot and will still pick it up when i get the chance. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone especially if they have a local friend to Co-Op with.
