A game that may be fun at first, but when you get down to it, its rather bland. I came upon this game after playing the Monster Hunter Freedom Unite demo for the PSP, mostly because I wanted to know if there were other MH games.I then found out that MH, (being portable AND for a Sony system) wasn't meant for Wii. I purchased this, and loved it in the beginning, with character customization and online play, who wouldn't? The graphics aren't half bad either. But here comes the bad part(s): There isn't an actual story (although some would argue that it technically does), and ALL you do is kill, kill, kill. It got rather boring after awhile, to the point where I really can't play it anymore. My 13 year old and 9 year old brothers love it, but they're all about killing video games. Eventually all the dinosaurs come back to be hunted again. The missions are all the same, and the online play is about the same as the regular game, although it is fun to have someone else to help hunt those pesky prehistoric like creatures.So, if your looking for a pet dinosaur, look somewhere else.
