Monster Hunter Tri is the monster-hunting game i've been waiting for.
Let me bring you up to speed here, I didn't like the first Monster Hunter. I was ultimately disappointed with it. The sequels, Monster Hunter G, and 2. Was only released in Japan. Then, surprisingly, on the Wii, came Monster Hunter Tri! And oh man, this is the game i've wanted.
The graphics, for the Wii, our just downright amazing. Lovely detailed, and impressive. And the soundtrack? One of the best soundtracks i've ever heard. I love how the game looks, and sounds.
The Controls, while the Wii-Mote + Nun-Chuk is OK. I prefer the Classic Controller, is seems to control a lot more better.
Now there is 2 modes, an Offline mode, and the big seller, the Online mode. First of, the Online mode is the reason you get this game, and its compatible with the Wii-Speak. Great! The offline mode, is ok, but not what i expected, all you do is the option to free-hunt. While you can go anywhere and level up. I think there could've been more added into offline mode.
But the Online mode is a lot of fun, though there tends to be some slow-down, and lag. But that makes sense, because your online, it always tends to do that.
But, you know what? Looking back at the first game of the series, and looking at this one. I can see all the improvements. Monster Hunter Tri is the monster-hunting role playing game i've been waiting for. I love it. So if you have a Nintendo Wii, don't hesitate to purchase this.
