Where's Scorpion?

Mortal Kombat 3 is a great game. With great graphics, great sound, music and game play, you'd think that Mortal Kombat 3 is flaming hot, right? For the most part, yes. But there's only one thing that angers me about this game. No Scorpion. What did they do? They kept Scorpion in the second game, so why not in this one? A blue robot with a spear like Scorpion's just doesn't cut it for me. I really wanted to burn people to death with his 'toasty' fatality, and use the teleporting punch.
Nevertheless though, the game play is excellent. It's very responsive and the characters move nice and fast. The awesome graphics remain intact as always. The sound is better than MK2 on Sega Mega Drive with a lot more voice samples, which is a plus. The idea of uppercutting your opponent into another arena was a fantastic idea, I must say that. Stage fatalities are back and better than ever. Overall this is a great game but hindered by no Scorpion.
