In case you weren't around in 1993, Mortal Kombat II was THE fighting game. Nothing could touch it. The gameplay was tight, faster than all its current compettitors and the characters were as memorable as they get. Even to this day they are satired/revered by popular media.
There was nothing like it in the day.
This game had it all, secrets, rumors, TONS of finishing moves and even character endings. It was the gem of the arcade... and so popular no one would dare alter it for home conversions; this game when it hit the home markets virtually invented the mature rating systems we use today.
And to think, a game that had such incredible impact on the game industry then can be available for a mere 5 dollars today... well the dorky teenager that worshiped that game back in the day said I gotta have it.
If your looking for hot graphics, 3d anything or whatever... go elsewhere. If you want to own a peice of gaming history, its only one portrait of Abraham Lincoln away.
