I've been playing NBA 2K since 2K10, on PS2. Through the years, I've played on ps2, pc, ps3, went back to pc, and now I'm in ps4... and NEVER before have I had so much trouble, have gone through so much stress, with a new NBA 2K game. Not even CLOSE!
The gameplay is absolutely broke! People have been talking about the shooting and the shot meter, and that's not even half of it! I've adapted to a lot of gameplay changes through the little more than a decade of playing this game, and now I'm seeing things in FREAKING ROOKIE DIFFICULTY that I'd only see in Hall of Famer!
If you have a job, a house to maintain, you're an undergrad, or all of them together (which is my case) and you can't put in multiple hours EVERY-SINGLE-DAY to get better at it, DON'T BUY IT! NBA 2K has always been the ONLY game I never uninstall until the next one is available to play. I play it at least twice or three times a week, more when possible, and this is the first time I haven't had fun with it ONCE! And the only reason I insist is because ps4 games are ridiculously expensive in Brazil (where I'm from) R$ 250,00 to be exact. Standard edition. It's the one game I know I'll buy during presale, and that I'm not gonna wait for a sale, every year.
And now, for the first time since I started this habit because I just love basketball and videogames, I absolutely REGRET IT!
