nba 2k9 is the most game i play every single day. it is really fun but it has some serious letdowns sometimes
1. dont even try to play agaiinst lakers or cavs. PERIOD. u will lose and u will get frustrated.
2. 4 some reason, they made the wizards 2 damn good and also the warriors.
3. sometimes, i mean not every game but sometimes, it is just plain ridiculous. the ai is soooooo frustrating sometimes. lemme tell u why. they will occasionally hit 3's in ur face constantly. also, when you wanna pass to ur other player while he is in the paint, they do a bouncepass which is always intercepted and they go on a fastbreak which u cant stop. also, u miss open shots (which does happen in real life, but how come the ai doesnt?) and sometimes layups. the ai ALWAYS steal and driving with lower card gaurds will either get blocked or miss. by lower card i mean players like aaron brooks and john salmons, not rose and parker.
sometimes i get soo frustrated i wanna break the cd into a million pieces (lol) but rarely does that happen. if u r down by 10, DONT give up. u WILL come back and maybe win.
BIG TIP: never play a game (especially superstar or hof difficulty) when u dont feel like playing that much. u wont focus and u will shoot bad shots and play bad D. only play when u feel like having fun. dont play when ur frustrated as well after u lost a game or 2. trust me- been there.
overall, i give it 9/10 becuz of how damn fun it is when u make ur open shots and the ai plays fair. when the frustrating games kick in, it will drive u crazy but that rarely happens.
a MUST get 4 all bball fans- i listed a lot of bad points more than good becuz the whole game is good but the points i listed.
