EA said that they went back to their roots with NFS Hot Pursuit..!! well they tried and it went terribly wrong!
Pros: Car Collections as said earlier..a lot of realistic cars..
- Police chases (from a cop point of view) is good. 7/10
- Police chases (from a driver) is OK. 5/10
Graphics: no AA? No blur? Terrible effort by EA 3/10
Gameplay: I think kids under 13 will prefer this game! No handling, no control of the car, just drifts when you tap, no speed feel, no brake feel, 2/10
Sound: cars sound almost real. Soundtracks are exceptionally good. 8.5/10
Controls: Terrible to say the least. No counter drift? No MANUAL TRANSMISSION!?!?!?!?!?! 1/10
Free Roam is just a free roam..no competition, no cops, no nothing? What were the testers thinking? Environment looks good but ... what is the point? 3/10
Online: Glitchy with lots and lots of lag! (I have a 100 mbps connection) Hopefully a patch can fix that up! 4/10
NOS: too much nos!! too easy to attain..I pushed a Boxster to its limits without trying with NOS! 3/10
Playability: 15 and under will enjoy! Anyone looking for a simulation MUST wait for Shift 2, as the Extras trailer for Shift 2 is quite good.. 3/10
I think EA just wanted to release the game & mint some money. This was a terrible terrible game..
I played for a good 8 hours waiting for a surprise but...it just kept on getting worse!
Not being a hater but when EA went back to its roots, they just messed it even further. They should look forward rather than backwards! May be hire good game testers!
