If you like racing games and miss the old days, then buckle up!

I played almost every Need for Speed game since the original, up to and including Carbon. It was at that point though that I started feeling the seres had lost it's purpose.

The original purpose of the Need for Speed games was to put you behind the wheel of an expensive car you probable will never get to drive, and allow you to see just how fast you could cross the finish line.

The original Hot Pursuit was revolutionary in that, it allowed you to race while avoiding being knocked off the road by the law. Now Criterion, who created the Burnout series of games and are probably the best cross platform developer on the planet, are paying homage to that amazing experience. Forget pretty gitls spewing crap in your ear.

This is about racing.

Fast.

Graphically this game is top notch. Load up, choose Racer or Cop and set out on the roads of Seacrest county.

It's highly addictive and a load of fun. Highly recommended.

Heck, just get this game to see if you can hold the Bugatti Veyron at top speed for longer than 2 seconds.
