NFS Hot Pursuit is very fun game but still it is not the best NFS so far on PC and does not have much re-playability

First of all; This is not a racing sim by any stretch of the imagination. This is an arcade type racing game and For that I'm grateful. So, if you love sim games like DiRT, GRiD or even NFS Shift, stay away from this one.
The graphics are much better than some earlier versions of NFS but not the best. The weather also changes from race to race in this game which was not in earlier version like in NFS Most wanted the whole game was in daytime whereas in NFS Carbon the whole game was in night time but this game is both in Day as well as Night time.
Lots of real-life based licensed cars for both cops and racers. Even civilian vehicles were based on real-life public cars, which is a nice touch.
Single-Player (Career), divided to racer and cop events, and no lap tracks is quite weird for a NFS game, so there's no Knock-Out mode as well. The Cop side's time attack mode is the most challenging part in the game, since you'll get punishment for hitting anything.
A new car is unlocked when we collect some specific amount of bounty. Our level rises as suspect when we play as racer and chase cops and collect specific amount of bounty and our level increases also in chasing suspects by collecting bounty .
At first I was mostly sticking with playing the street racers, but it's just as much fun to get behind the wheel as a cop and take down the criminals.
For Hot Pursuit modes, either side has to use various tools to win the race; rush to finish line for racers or bust all outlaws for cops. Obviously, the AI system is quite illogical as no matter how well you drive they can always catch up, or on the other hand wait for you to catch up even when you made some mistakes. Hot Pursuit races are very fun, the Best thing in the game is the Equipments like Spike strips, Jammer, EMP(Electro Magnetic Pulse), Turbo which we can use while chasing Cops and Racing and While Chasing Suspects we can use Spike strips , EMP, Roadblock and Helicopter.
This NFS didn't have any true story behind it (unlike NFS Most Wanted and NFS undercover), just a bunch of challenges lined up for you to knock down like so many bowling pins at an alley.
One of the bad things about this game is limitation. Basically game had 3 race types (Pursuits, Races, and A-B) there are some variants but really all the same. And also limited number of racing areas. It seemed to me that after a while, I kept driving new models of cars on the same old roads. There are only so many times you can drive a stretch in a race or time trial before it gets boring. And finally no customization! Being an arcade racing title, it's to be expected that there's no performance customization. But seriously, absolutely no visual customization for the racers other than selecting body colors? I might be nitpicking here but at times, I just don't want my car to look like it's just been out of the factory.
Free Roam is bad. Why the hell is there free roam in the first place? Bird watching? There are no other racers, there is no Police...
Overall it's a fun game no doubt about it, but it has left out so many features that have been a mainstay in need for speed for the past 10 years. And does not have much re-playability so I advice you to rent it and beat it in a couple hours then return it.
